dyer1_t614A tribute to Wayne Dyer:

First, I must give credit and thanks to my friend Stephen Frasier who introduced me to the teachings of Wayne. Of all the lectures, videos, and writings of our friend Wayne who now lives free of the human form, that I have viewed or read, one sentence he uttered in the very first video I watched has never left me alone. It began as a small smoldering ember which has grown until it is now a burning white hot light that has consumed me. These are those words:

“Do not die with your song still inside you.”

Those words, that one sentence simply would not fade from my consciousness and has irrevocably altered my life from the state of the walking dead to one of vibrant and thankful being.

You are here for one reason. That reason is to sing the most wonderful song ever sung. The song that is yours and yours alone to sing. No one else can do it. Over the course of the last two or so years I have become aware that my purpose is to disturb you, to shake you from your slumber until you feel a new wind blowing inside your very soul that ignites that small, forgotten about or denied ember, that is your song, your purpose, until it consumes you as it has me, until you are not just singing your song, you have dissolved into your song.

Your song lies somewhere in your passions. Those things that bring you alive and make time disappear. Your happiness can only truly be realized when you honor your song. This you know, I know.

So, with Love I must echo the same words that disturbed me into living life fully, pressed down and overflowing. Honor the still small voice in you that is urging you.

“Do not die with your song still inside you.”
