Myth #5 About Meditation

Myth #5 – If I meditate I am a superior being, because I am spiritual.
Meditation is a gift you give to yourself and to the world. Every time you meditate you come closer to truth, to love, to peace, and to your personal power.
No matter how awake you become as a result of your practice, you are still on the same plane as one who is living in a state of unconsciousness. There is no hierarchy to the human soul, and thank God for that. Just imagine if God had favorites as some would have you believe is true. If it were true there would indeed be a reason for fear because there would always be someone God liked more than you.
The first time I heard God was impersonal I took offense, I believed God of course had a deep personal relationship with me, and The Creator does. It’s just that The One-I Am, has the same deep personal relationship with all creation.
And so we are to have the same, deep personal relationship of love with all, not because your sister/brother is just like you, rather your brother/sister IS YOU!
